Upgrade Battery
#1
I am wondering if anyone has upgraded their battery and if they did with what kind? I have the stock battery and there have been a few time while plowing at night with the lights on, winch going and the fan going the battery indicator would start to flash. The quad is kept in a garage where it never gets below 35 degrees. I was hoping that Optima batteries made a battery but it does not look like it. Just curious and thanks for the feedback.

pretty much it sounds like your overloading the charging system on no matter what battery you put in it. imo

Stendori,
While you may be correct then there must be something wrong, I am not doing anything different from what I am sure 70% of other riders are doing. I am just plowing in at night when I have had this issue. I put a charger on the battery and according to the charger I have it tells me that the battery is "sulfated" and won't fully charge anymore. I guess I am hoping that the Odyssey battery is closer to a deep cycle battery that can handle being drained and then be able to be charged. The stock one was not able to do this.
