Default Cam chain replacement.

After many days of working to get the warrior running good and rideable, I had a bout wherethe carb was messing up and was causing the bike not to run good. In that time frame I decided to pull the caps off the head and adjust the valves since I thought they may be loose. Well the valves were right but I found the cam to be about 3/4 of a tooth off. I know it's not much but I know it'll get worse with time. Is the cam chain replaceable with the head insatalled and the case not split? Or is that somthing that I can only do if plan a topend job/ or full engine rebuild?

you have to pull the head off and take a side cover off, you dont need to split the cases or take the jug off, have it at TDC then remove gastank, carb and just loosen the head up take left hand side cover off, and stator, stator hub off, then u can see the cam chain go over the sprocket on the crank, then take cam cover off, cam sprocket off then carefully take the head off while still keeping tension on the cam chain you drop it then after that you can remove the chain.
