When I replaced the tires on my 2000, I went with the Carliles. For the price, availability and online recommendations, they seemed to be the best choice. They have help up great for me since I got them a few years ago. I got them from discount tire, mounted and balanced (kind of anyway). No road hazard though.

Also, check summitracing.com for prices. They just sent me a catalog advertising them for $19.99 to $49.99 ea.

Take a look at the zillas. Great all around tire, lightweight, work well in mud/snow, and trail well. Was really happy with mine.

What type of terrain are you going to be riding?
Are you planning on staying with the stock size?
Are you planning on doing mods if you go bigger?

Yeah, I just got some bighorns. If you do some searching it is very hard to find a bad review on the bighorns.

It all depends on what type of riding you do most often

I got Mudlite XTRs and they've been great. The only thing that I don't like is that they have such good traction it is harder to powerslide around a corner. But, they are fantastic in mud, on rocks and hard pack, in snow, and every other service. Everyone I've heard of with the Bighorns really likes them too. I'd say if you are dealing with really deep mud, I'd go with the XTRs. If not very deep mud the Bighorns would be my second choice.
