anybody got one? the armed forces had some special purpose 700s built by Polaris...huge racks and dual winchs (sounds like a threesome...lol)

Anyone ever come across one of these GI atvs?

 

Yep seen them for sale at my local dealer. Nice quads for what they were but boy did they look heavy and SLOW.

 

yea there though for sure i'll bet. only seen them on tv, but would like a close up for sure.

 

They were called MV7's I think...Are they still making them? I haven't seen them in a while...

Have a buddy with one, tough machine, 2 gas tanks 2 winches, dry weight,1000 plus pounds.

Maybe slow and heavy but that thing looks like it could go though a wall and laugh about,if I had the money to spend on it for were I live and what I do that would be great..

interesting. when i was in iraq last year, all i saw was a regular red sportsman 500, a silver sportsman 500 H.O, big boss 6x6, and a honda rubicon. and of course, a whole bunch of john deere gators and polaris rangers and kawasaki mules. never saw a sweet rig like the MV7 though...

 

Well its just like when the hummers started getting air cond installed for the first time,no one ever got them but the top brass,funny how that works out,Im shure there is some Col right now that uses it to ride back and forth from the head...

When I did my time all we ever used were FAV's and that was a new thing back then,was fun to a point.
