my 2000 expedition wont fire

Unhappy my 2000 expedition wont fire

i have replaced the plug, i have put a new starter coil on it, and i am still not getting fire... the thing just called it quits on me one day, and i had been riding it the day before and everything was fine, but the next day i get on it and nothing happens... any solutions? thanks!!

welcome to the forum. did you make sure no wires were grounding it out any where like having the kill switch on?

you said there is no fire. the first thing to rule out is that the kill switch or key switch is turning it off(which is basicly grounding out the hot wire to shut it off). did you replace the coil or the coil inside by the stator?

i replaced the coil that is located right in front of the hanldebars.. so im guessing this is just the coil that you are speaking of.. i had a guy come over that used to work on polaris' and he said that the only thing he could think of would be to replace the starter coil, so thats what i did and nothing happened. he also checked out my kill switch and said that everything looked fine.. so i dunno.. im sorry man i just dont know alot about fourwheelers.. i can work on vehicles but when it comes to fourwheelers its a whole different ballgame..
