Hello thanks for stoping to look and help me with my problem. I have a 03 polaris predator 500. The problem is, I was out riding my quad last month and it died while I was riding it like it was out of gas. I stoped got off and tried to start it again and it would not start. After 5 mins or so it started back up. Took off and rode it for about another 15mins and it did the same thing. Died and would start with no power to anything, lights, brake, starter. Got stuck out on a trail in nowhere and had to get towed home
. The start button never worked when I bougt it earlyer this year. Every start has been off the 2 post on the solenoid. Maybe i fried a fuse doing this? But again to sum up the post. Atv not getting power to anything. no lights, starter, nothing, does nothing. I have replaced the cdi box, regulator. Please help im tired of buying parts that arent working. All help is appracited. Thanks

Welcome to the forum. There are no fuses, but there are circuit breakers in the wiring harness. My guess is that one of these has failed. I am not familiar with your bike, but on mine they are located forward of the starter selenoid in a plastic pouch that is wire tied. you can check these with a 12 volt test light or volt meter. Hope this helps.

You need to cut open the bags and use a test light to test the circuit breakers inside. These can be bought separate, they are just 12 volt circuit breakers. Check the battery side of the breaker then the output side. If your test light powers up on both sides its usually a good breaker or fuse. I would think that you could buy these at any parts store with the old one in hand. However, you will want to reseal the breakers again. I have used heat shrink in the past for same purposes.
