have a 2009 arctic cat 700h1 . have efi flashing on screen while running. read that i can get to error codes from diagnostic plug next to the pdm. after checking i found this plug to be located by the fuse box and have 4 wires hooked to it. ( black, orange, green, blue with red stripe) does anyone know where i can get the test plug for this or how to jump it out so i can get to the error codes . older models only had 2 wires and you can use a paper clip. atv runs just have efi flashing all the time . figure if i can get the number of code i can narrow the check list of possible problems thank`s crash

I have a 2006 700 EFI cat Love the machine but I just recently have had a problem. I was riding around my place at a low speed and the machine just quit. Then when I tried to restart it would crank over just fine but start flashing EFI and not even fire. I jumped the wires to get the codes and come up with a big 00. The fuel pump sounds like it is pumping gas but i don't think it is getting to the throttle body.
Cann anybody please help???? Thanks

moike tryed the battery thing , it didnt work went right back to default. bigcat 06 motor was made by suzuki I think. theres no 00 on the trouble shooting guide for the 09 model. might be a loose connection

I had the same issue with my 2008 700EFI. Kept getting EFI message. Code was showing as AC00. When i chanded my oil filter, i noticed that the new one was different. It was bigger than the old one and had a spring inside. Maybe I had the wrong one installed. Anyhow, with this one i never had the code again.
