Default 1995 Magnum Bog- Help!!

I have a used Magnum. It has been parked for a while.
Had to put in new starter. Got that done.
Now it has a bog from 1/2 throttle on.
Took of the air box, it runs GREAT!!
Put it back on BOGGG.???
I came across an old thread that suggested The Pilot Jet.
How do you adjust that?? Mikuni Carb.
Please Help!!

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

Try taking the snoot off the air box.If the wire is gone inside the tube it will collapse at higher rpms.

Pilot jet is inside the float bowl, if its bogging at higher rpms its the main jet thats plugged, try what fwitfth said and then take the carb off and clean it.

Default Magnum Bog Help!

Thanks for the quick replys. I never expected help so fast!
The snout wire and filter is off.(never came with one)
Main filter is out(I though maybe it was cloged).
The only thing on is the plactic housing.(On runs like c###)
Off run Great!! (just sliping it half way off makes a differance)
Sounds like I have to open the carb up.
Should I leave carb in (pull the tank) Or pull carb out??
Main jet?? how do you clean??
