Big Bear 250 as a workhorse?
#1
I'm looking at machines to do some yard work at the house I'l be moving into. something to plow a 100+ foot driveway, and also to pull a trail mower.
A Big Bear 250 popped up on the local CL. The price is good, and the owner says he used it to plow last winter with no issues.
Woudl this be a good choice for a workhorse? I really want to get the smallest machine possible, no sense is getting a monster and spending a ton to do a job that a smaller machine could do. I figure it will be fine for pulling the mower, but I wonder about the plowing. Anyone in western NY, PA, southern Ontario, or eastern OH using 2wds to plow?

I seen a guy plowing with a 300 Suzuki 2wd, he had chains on the tires but he seem do be doing fine.
I use to do some crazy camping loads with my 1986 Yamaha 250 Moto4.
