I recently purchased a Kasea 125. I can get it to start then idles for 3-5 seconds and dies. I did get it running about a week ago and my daughter rode it all day with no problems once it was rode for a while it would start everytime with no problem. I tried to start it yesterday and it did the same thing, it took numerous amount of tries to get it running again. I have cleaned the carberator 4-5 times it is getting gas. Any help is appreciated.

 

well have u tried the batter are maybe the starter idk realy just some help full tips im not fameler with the kasea 125 ??????

I'm trying to remember... Kasea 125cc is a four stroke GY6 engine, right? Automatic continuously variable transmission (CVT) with belt drive?

So many brands... They all blend together after a while.

Have you adjusted the valves? This is a required periodically. They tighten with wear, and they tighten more when the engine is cold, The first symptom of tight valves is progressive difficulty starting when cold, eventually leading to no starting at all.

How do you know it is getting gas? Where did you check to see that it was getting gas? Where you looking in the gas tank, at the carburetor, or at the spark plug?

Do you have an automatic choke (bystarter valve), or is it a manual choke?

 

I checked the gas at the carb. I have not adjusted the valves cause I was told to never do that on this four wheeler. It is automatic variable trans chain driven. i also noticed when I try to start it gas starts comeing out of the over flow.

 

If gas is flowing out of the carb...then the float is not adjusted correctly, the float is out of adjustment(most appear level when the carb is held up side down).. or the needle/seat is worn out...
