Default Something getting wet

Hi- I'm a new memeber and don't know if this issue has been addressed b4. On my '07 500 sportsman, something gets wet crossing water and makes it burp/miss when you try to accelerate and "check engine" displays. When the display goes out, it will either run proper or will burp/miss and display"check engine again". It will idle though or maybe quit but will start back up.Can slowly crawl through water and be fine. Don't know about depth though- running a little cautious! Usually only crossing water up to the footboards. Also, I have about 3500 miles on it and the front diff needs to be replaced-don't know if this is related or not.
Thanks in advance,
Wade

It could be a loose connection somewhere under the front end. If you've got the time, start your quad, take a water bottle and spray every connection you can find in the front end. My sister-in-law's Phoenix 200 had the same problem after water crossings, even going slow, and that's how we found the problem.
