Arctic Cat 500 2006 TRV 4x4

OK, I was on here a while back. Quad would start, but then after choke warmed, it would die. I have a new elex choke installed, old choke had broken prong on inside of itself. expensive bugger....Now machine will not start at all. Blue fire at end of plug, plug is wet when pulled, gas is coming out of drain bowl if opened, machine only has 100 hours, please help. I gapped it, and cleaned, thouroughly detached carb. Is this a timing issue, how do I verify. Shop is expensive and many miles from cabin.

I hear you on the dealer being a long way away. In the same situation - if I can't fix it, it's going to sit until I can.
Did the quad ever run after you replaced the elec. choke? If it didn't, find out if you're getting power to the new choke - or put the old unit back on and see if that makes a difference.
Otherwise, there are two things I can suggest:
Replace the plug. My 02 500i fouled its plug and just would not start. Plug looked fine, could see a spark, I cleaned it anyway, it still wouldn't start. Put in a new plug, it fired right up.
Change the gas. It's worth a try. Drain the carb and the tank. Might have some water in there.
Dang, I've been wanting to replace that old 500i with a newer TRV, but it has a few things the newer quads don't have: manual choke, manual 4wd lever, things that just don't go wrong. If I could just find a TRV with a blown motor...

I will buy the plug. It is wet as heck, and there is spark as I felt it too....But I will buy the new one. As for the kill switch, it is my patience....If the kill switch is not on, the engine will not turn over, so that is not it.
