Have you ever adjusted the valves?

Valves tighten with wear, and tighten even more when cold. So the classic symptom for tight valves is hard starting when cold, eventually leading to no starting.

I don't know what the spec's are for your engine. Perhaps someone else knows.

I set my 150cc quad to 0.004" on both intake and exhaust when the engine is cold. If you find your valves are tighter than that then I'd loosen them up to 0.004 and see if it makes a difference. Slightly loose valves are noisy. Tight valves make a quad hard to start.
