Default battery light still blinking.

Ok, guys i went and bought a new rectifier for my sportsman 600, slapped it on, it started right up, as before it didn't, but 10 minuted down the trail the battery light statrted blinking again, and the battery won't keep a charge again, and my quad won't start, either. Does anyone think that it has anything to do with the stator?

Have you put it in diagnostic mode to see what your voltage reading are ? but my guess is yes it's your stator .

What is the condition of the battery? There are simple resistance checks you can do on the stator that you need a multimeter for.

I just found out this week that it appears my 02 700 is not charging the battery. It runs fine but after a couple hours of riding all electronics go out and the battery is dead, but it will keep running as long as I dont shut it down. The stator must be OK as its runs fine, is there a rectifier/regulator somewhere on the machine?

I just put a brand new rectifier on it. It runs fine until I turn it off, then it won't start back up

I am having this problem on my 02 700 as well. The battery light is flashing, and the machine runs well. If I turn it off, it always fires back up no hesitation. The flashing is just annoying. Any help would be great.
