Thats good but if you get caught by the dnr doing that in mn it will hurt the pocket book.

Is he floating or touching bottom, if hes on bottom we have been that deep many times. Can,t ride in a lake were you guys come from? Whats the point of that law?

We pretty much can't ride in any water besides a puddle after it rains, and that better be on a legal trail. Mud tires are almost worthless to have up here, except for using in the snow. Enviro-nuts.........

A swift moving river works very well also, but a big no no.

I fish, and trout don't like mud in their gills. There's no reason for it. Clean the machine when you get home. My 2 cents, but do as you will.

Riparian zones.....They don't make lake specific laws. You just can't do it in many states. Potentially destroys vegetation and/or nesting/breeding critters. On top of the silt and possible distribution of non-native species you could be carrying around under your bike.
