as i drive off im getting a clicking noise coming from behind the machine i see grease on the right rear boot how bad is this ??

 

The 08 800 is sold you no longer need to worry about the noise .

 

Sounds like a bad boot and may have some debri in it. Pull the axle, remove the boot, clean it out really good, and inspect the joint for damage. Hopefully you are lucky and it just needs to be cleaned/repacked with grease.

 

you have a hole in the cv boot and got water/mud in there and now the cv joint is gone bad and the whole thing needs replacing.

nope no new one in my future as of now. we got rid of both our wheelers for awhile.
