Default Hooked!

I took my son to the back of the neighborhood and found a nice trail. It's mostly through the woods with one or two small mud ruts. It was maybe 1/2 mile. Small trail by comparison but the first we have been on. We had a blast. Especially in the lil' rut section and the bumpy areas. I must say I knew I would like having a 4 wheeler but this is flat out fun. For a first little trail ride it was (in my son's words) "AWSOME!"

That's great I think the more family you have with you (to an extent) the more fun you have

I bought my sportsman 550 as a tool for plowing, making wood and hunting. I was shocked to find I LOVE tearing it up in the bush, mud and rocks. The things are an absolute blast for me and the kids.

It's a great hobby to spend with your kids. We started when my son was 12 on a friend's property. He's now 18 and doesn't mind hanging out with Dad on rides.

I think it's just the beginning. It needs some "work" but to me thats part of the fun. Next week I'm taking it to get the carb rebuilt. That will probably be the first of many improvements it will be getting. But as for riding it around man it's fun. I've already started looking at the 50 to 90cc quads for my boy (7yrs old). My daughter is only 5 so she has a few years to go before I set her off. My bride is even coming around to it.
