07 hawkeye 500 motor upgrade

Default 07 hawkeye 500 motor upgrade

I have searched the forms and did find somebody with the name hawkeye500.. Anybody but the 500ho in a hawkeye frame yet.. If so I sure would like to talk to you.. Or any bigger motor upgrade in the hawkeye would be great.. I like how small the quad is just would like a whole lot more power..

500 will bolt in with the mounts from a 08 and uo 400ho. it is a 455 same as 500 with smaller jug

what about my clutch system will that bolt up to the 400 ho motor, or will I need the clutch off that?

2006 was the first year and the small frame was also used in 2007.
I don't think the 500 will fit in your 2007..
...Caper.........

I would be happy with the 400ho if that bolted right up..

The idea is the 300 Hawkeye is the same frame as the 400 H.O frame and the 455 motor in the 400H.O is the same Fugi built motor as the 500 H.O only a different bore or stroke, so in therory it should work.

So the 300, 400, and 500 are all the same motor, and the only difference is the bore and stroke? If that is the case.. It would be cheaper to get the crank and piston and the jug of the 400 or 500.. I am I reading this right..

do all three engines use the same mail bearings and case?

I know the 425,455 and 500 are the same motor. From the outside no one could tell which is which.

but is the 300 the same? If so then I could just get new factory parts of one of the bigger motors, and put on mine.
