Default clutch and other questions for raptor 700

Hi i'm looking into getting a raptor cause i've read in many places that it can handle rocky trails as well as move fast.

i've only ridden 2 750 brute forces, 2009 and 2006, and a 2007 bayou 250. I can't stand the way the engine brake holds back when i'm trying to cruise around on the brute force and love the way the bayou 250 feels and the way the automatic clutch works but it has no power. i'm a little worried it won't have the clearance cause the bayou 250 barly clears some of the rocks i go over, but i could always adapt my riding or get skid plates right?

The main question i have aside from if this is the right bike for me is how does the clutch work on a raptor? i suck really bad at using a clutch on cars and trucks and have stalled them out when i try to start. (i've only driven a manual once). Is an atv clutch anything like a cars? or are they all automatic clutches like the bayou 250 cause that thing is awesome and very easy to use just using your foot to shift up or down. i'm also very confused about how it works with the rear brake cause it sounds like it's the same lever. Wouldn't that mean your braking everytime you switch gears if you have to hold the clutch down unless you only use the clutch to get into first then it would make sense to me.

your rear brakes lever is on the right side and the clutch is on the left side. u have to hold in the clutch when u shift but imo its very easy to do. i put a 10 year old girl on mine and she could do it so i think u will be fine once u practice a little

oh cool thanks! yea i bet i'll get the hang of it in no time cause i love riding and it looks like alot more fun to ride the sport atv's then the utility ones. Hmmm, what about the front brakes then? are there no front brakes on it? and one last question, does it stall if you try to switch gears without holding in the clutch?

the front break is a lever on the handle bars on the right side, the clutch is on the left. and i can shift without using the clutch just have to make sure u are going fast or it just wont let u shift pretty much and u can shift down really easy without pulling in the clutch some ppl say it wears the tranny but i dont think it does much if any at all.
