Default 07 trailboss 330= motor rebuild

Cant be over 100 hours on it. Motor has been knocking for a while. Blew it off as a clutch issue and polaris's are noisy. I bought 2 of these new (2600$) and my other one is quiet.

Took it in to a shop and he thought it was a clutch issue, well clutch is good but it is either a piston scuffed up or a rod issue.

I will keep updated.

Are the 300 motors that bad?

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

The 325s had rod issues that may have run over to the 330s too

My 2000 325 had "the knock" but otherwise is still running strong. Well, parked and idling strong. Sold it to my nephew who thought he could "fix" the carb. Cleaning it was all it would have taken. Now it's back at my house to get running again.
