I am looking at new to me/ used x2's. I just bought a 500ho, but the PO screwed me as the unit has a lien against it. In my search for another I have come across a 700 and an 800. I liked the 500 with the back up pull start and reliability. The 700 seemed like it was short lived in the x2. How reliable is the 700 vs the 800. Price is a huge factor, so it might just come down to the cheapest I can find, even outty (for now). I dont need super power(would be nice), I am more concerned about not putting money into it. Opinions please.

 

I've got 2000 almost completely trouble free miles on my 2006. The only thing that went wrong is that the rear foot brake cylinder seized. The dealership said the brakes aren't grabbing and that I could go either way I wanted. I've left it alone and it hasn't had any other problems. I would also get a 2007 or newer only because the latch system for the driver seatback that becomes the passenger seat is better. The 500 is plenty strong for anything other than being super speedy. My top speed on a GPS is something around 55 mph.
