I have an 01 400EX with 440 kit and other minor upgrades (cam, pipes, etc....) Long story short its not anywhere near as fast as I would like. I have not taken it out in 3 years. I just got a new job and finally have a Monday - Friday schedule and enough money to go out and have fun on weekends. I've decided its time to sell my old girl and get something more up to date. I'm really interested in something with a lot more power. I will be buying used. Thing is I'm not really sure what to get. I'm 6'1 and weigh around 235 lbs. I never really felt cramped on the 400ex. I am considering a 450r or maybe a Bombardier 650. I'm not really sure what I could get for my bike but I saw a REALLY nice 450r for sale in my area with every upgrade I would ever want to do for $3500. Would this bike be too small for me? I am pretty armature. I mean I go for long rides with friends through the dunes but I don't do any large jumps or anything like that. I just want plenty of power to get myself up hills and being faster than my friends is of course a plus Anyway, I would love to hear what people think. Ive just been out of the game for a while and am thrilled about getting back in it!
