steam when going though water?

when the engine is hot and you go through deep cold water and it steams, is it bad on the engine? someone told me that it can crack the engine? can it?

It happens to all engines. Pealpe have also told me that it could crack the block but it wont. Well maybe it will but I have never seen nor heard anything about this ever happening. Dont worry it wont hurt anything.

all motors steam when you go through water if there hot.

It can crack, especially if the the engine is hot and you turn it off then wash it with cold water.

it will crack it if it is off when u put cold water on it....but if its running it should be ok....mine has never got hurt by deep water crossings
