Which is faster and has more power; a Polaris Magnum 325 2x4 or a Kawasaki Prairie 300 2x4.

You will be really supprised at how much power the magnum has, I have one and couldn't be happier. Lots of guys will tell you it will top out a 45mph, but I have had mine to 55mph. Pulling wise, I couldn't be happier, there hasn't been a log, bolder, or anything I haven't been able to pull yet.

I would really look into the KODIAK , much more of a machine then either the polaris or kawasaki. Think you would be much surpised with the difference...

Polarisman3210,

1)You say that your Magnum 325 has a lot of power what exactly is it being compared to.

2)I know your Magnum 325 will not go 55 mph first of all because it doesn't have a speedometer and second of all because I was racing my friend on his Magnum 325 2x4 on my Yamaha Big Bear 350 and I came by him in 4th gear going 45 on a paved road and he never even came close to me.

3)I already know that the Prairie has more power and is faster than the Magnum but I just wanted to post this to see other peoples responces to show my friend that i'm not the only one who thinks this.

(I am saying any of this to put down your ATV but c'mon dude think about it...how can a 575 pound 325 cc ATV run 55mph...i just don't see how)

I looked at this thread to see some informed opinions on 2 different ATV's. What I found is another yahoo trying to stir up trouble.
THALAW, Why do you need to do this?? I have seen 2 posts by you so far, both complaining about Polaris.. GO AWAY !!!

Idiot boy the Praire and the Magnum weigh 564 lbs and 574 lbs per the web site! I have driven both and they are so equal in evey way. they both run about 45-50 mph against my SP 500, they actually feel and drive so much alike they could be replicas of each other. Check your facts before posting. If you are going to try to start a fight at least get your fact straight.

More speed...I don't know.
More power - I would say about the same HOWEVER, the Magnum is geared lower in Low range, making it better able to pull heavy loads more easily, but at a slower speed. As far as horsepower out of the engine, I don't know.
Helpful, ain't I?

I know how fast mine will go because I raced my friend in an open field, he has a big bear 350 and he couldn't even keep up with me.
And also, I was also being followed my our durango on the road, I was topped out and was doing 55mph, So I have the proof, I know what mine will do so live with it, you are not changing my mind.

And also I am compairing it to other 300 class atv's. Ask anyone on this board that has a quad with that motor in it and they will tell you that it has terrific power.

I did not know the 325 Magnum weight is more the it,s 500 big brother? I would get the 325 before the 300 because a extra 25cc can not hurt.
