93 300 2x4

Can anybody tell me why engine revs real high sometimes even though the throttle is not stuck open. also when this happens it wont turn off with key or kill switch. you have to choke it till it quits. thanks

sounds like you have a massive air leak. start checking seals and the carb boot for it sucking air which causes a lean condtion.
