I recently purchased a 1985 Honda Big Red. The previous owner let the trike set up for 2 years. My problem is i can get it to start, but it won't take the gas. If i go to put it in gear and accelerate the engine acts like it wants to cut off. If its in neutral or in gear it idles fine, but if you go to press the gas it wants to cut off. I've installed a new spark plug, drained the old gas and put in new gas. Any suggestions???

 

If it sat for 2 yrs. I can guarantee the jets are clogged and that is probably why it will not accelerate.
