Someone said they had shockwears on their quad and they stayed moist all the time so all the paint came off! Has this happened to anyone else? Is there something I can do to prevent this? I was thinking about getting a set for my Warrior but not if this happens!

YamaQuad, I've had the shockwears on for several months, now, and I've had no problems with any paint coming off. Yeah, they'll wet when you ride, but they gotta dry sometime. Besides, they look cool.

Howdie,

I am gonna gues that you had them on pretty tight??

I found out a while back, that "ShockWear" suggests that you should be able to pull "At LEAST" 1/2" of slack when they are on; so they should be on pretty baggy.

Leave the holes in the velcro open so that the shock can breathe. You should'nt be getting too mcuh water in b/c shockwears are waterproof.

Hope to have helped,

EC
