400l motor

is a 400cc trail boss engine from the eary 90s the same as a 99 crambler 400? i have the chance to get a good running machine with a blown tranny for a good price. i was going to put the engine in my 99 4x4 scrambler.

Basically the same motor. The carb intake adapter might be different, along with the stator connections,but can be swapped over. OPT
