1977 Honda atc- front axle- I am trying to replace bearings. I have seals and snap ring off, cannot get axle or bearings out. Appears to be metal "sleeves" or "spacers" on each side that go from hub to fork(6").I know these have to come off because the bearings are too small to fit over them. They will not budge. Are these just supposed to slide off? Pulling my hair out. Appreciate any help.
