Default bmx 110 atv Where is the ignition switch supposed to go?

I bought my son a 2006 bmx 110 atv. It has lots of loose wires including the one to the ignition. I can't find where the ignition is supposed to go on the ATV...not funny guys...really! Also, which wires would go to it..as in colors and how many. Seems to be a lot of information on these chinese atv but not a pic of this. Any help would be great. Got taken...worked great at the guys place but cant start it even when jumped. Guess wiring is messed up.

I see the ignition on the diagram...but where does it go on the outside of the atv..where do you put the key in. It came with 2. There is a emergency shut-off thing that you pull off where I thought the ignition would go. The whole ignition is gone and would love to fix this thing like it should be.

not familiar with your model too much, but if it ain't in between the handlebars at the Y, then check on the side of the fuel tank in front of your crotch if you were sitting on it. it should be on the right hand side and be black or black with a silver keyhole.

I don't know where the ignition switch goes on your quad. I'm wondering if you quad ever had one. Are you sure the "ignition switch" wires are really ignition switch wires? How many wires on the connector? What are the colors? Generic ignition switches have 4 wires. The colors vary. But there are techniques to narrow those colors down for your quad if we need to.

How did you previous owner start it up? Did he use a key? Did he have to jump the quad battery to another battery?

When you say it won't start for you even if the quad is jumped, what do you mean exactly? Does the quad starter turn? Are you jumping the battery, or jumping the starter solenoid? If you don't understand my question then say so, and I'll downshift and explain in more detail.

Do you have a meter? You'll probably need one. If you can follow directions completely, and report accurately, I don't think this will be a hard problem to solve.
