2000 Polaris Scrambler 500 charging system?
Hello everyone,
I have a 2000 Scrambler 500, and it is not charging the battery. The fan also stopped working. Does anyone know if this is a common issue, and what is wrong

At about 4000 rpm a Volt meter should read about 13.4V. Check that first.
For the fan jump a 12v source to the fan's two wire and see if it still works OK. If it does then your connection to the Thermal switch in the rad to the fan maybe bad or the switch may need changing.
If you ever need a Fan.
Don,t buy a from from a dealer,go directly to SPAL.COM they make the Polaris fans and sell the much cheaper.
