Hi, I am 13 5'1 100 lbs. I ride mostly dunes/hills and stuff trails and open fields. I am thinking about buying a banshee but I think I might not be able to handle it becuase it is such a big machine. But I would love to have one. I was thinking maybe I could just take it slow and be really careful. I have only ridden quads only a few times. If I could have some of your guys opinions that would be helpful.THANKS

Man I'm 23 and weigh a whopping 120lbs. and I don't have any problems man handling my bike. It's all in the style that you ride and how good you are at it. I am actually thinking of a way to get more out of my setup. My bike is mainly setup for woods so it knocks of top end, I'm thinking of putting T-5 on them! You shouldn't have any problems!

If you can stay light on the throttle (at least at thebeginning), you won't have any trouble.
I'm 1m70 (sorry, don't know in feet/inches) and 150 lbs, I have no trouble...and am hesitating between nos and a 420 kit to roost a little more
I have been riding dirtbikes since 9, but the shee is my first quad.

The first quad I owned (still) is a banshee. I had ridden 4x4 quads and a few sport quads. 3 hours after I bought my bike it was 500ft down a 1000ft bank. I was injured but walked away without any broken bones. I weighed 185lbs at 5'10" After 1 seasons riding my bike I was definatly looking for more power. My point is that if you havent ridden lots of quads then you are probably going to hurt yourself (and the bike) but that does not mean shy away from the banshee. If you can, see if you can get a deal from a dealership where you can ride a blaster or warrior for a year or 2 then trade it off on a banshee. If you do decide to go with the banshee you can set a throttle stopper to allow yourself to only rev the bike so much. At age 13, with minimal to no riding or driving experience (not to look down on you because of your age or anything, but you dont seem to have alot of experience) I would NOT recommend a banshee. Banshees are extremely fast, powerful and hard to handle bikes for a beginner.

Im with Adrenilin, being ou have not ridded many quads before, I would stay away from the Banshee at this point. Why not find a Quad Racer or something that has speed, but is not so fast or quick that it can get away from you. If your not careful on a Banshee, you will get hurt.

Hi I am Dustin I am 16 years old 180 and I love my Banshee the first time I rode a Banshee I was 14 years old I rode my dads banshee that was piped and once I rode it I wanted one real bad and I finlly got one last year and wont trade it for any thing. You just got to take it easy at first and get to learn how to ride the banshee then you can go fast.

i ride a 98 banshee with toomey pipes. heres my opinion...dont buy a banshee. i love mine, but ive been riding two strokes for ten years. banshees are fast, very fast...i would probably be dead or crippled if i didnt have experience before getting on one.
with your size and experience, i would recommend a 400ex. their suspension is awesome, and weighing 100 lbs, the bike wouldnt even know you were there(plenty of power). this bike would give you a flavor of fast riding, and let you know if you still want more acceleration. with the 400ex, you could control the power more easily, and still ride as aggressively over rough stuff as you want.
the banshee is really an acquired taste, man...it is the straight line king, but a handful in rough terrain or woods riding.
just some thoughts, good luck and ride safe.
