I have a 2002 Honda Foreman it will crank but smokes

the problem was when we put it back together we did something wrong with the rings...sleeve is scratched....pretty much needs top end work done to it...the shift motor i think is gone its never really worked right.....plastics are good etc just mainly top end work and the esp crap...what would be a price as is???

 

Easiest way to get an idea of what it's worth is to price one in good running condition, and not physically beat up. Find out what an engine rebuild would cost, and subtract that from the price. Then see what you can get from there.

 

to be fair i would say 800 bucks.. sounds like a headache

 

Depends on where you are at. I know in someplaces people would pay top dollar for a 450 if it was in good condition but not running.

 

i see alot of people say 2 subtract rhe cost of fixin it but nobody wants too add in the "pain in the butt" factor of having to mess with fixin it.
