Best bang for the buck atv
#1
Any suggestions? Only thing ive ever ridden is a stock 700 prairie with hmf pipe and 28" mud lites. I love the power it has. But if i can find a cheaper smaller cc atv that has the same power or something i need to know.
In the market to buy new so help me out guys. Thanks.

Can AM are known for being fast for there motor size but not for being cheap thats for sure. Around here the bang for your Buck ATV seem to be the Suzuki 750 King Quad.
A Can AM Outlander 500 M.S.R.P. is only $400 less then a 750 KQ.
2011 Can-Am Outlander™ 500 EFI ATVs
A Bute Force 650 twin or 800 Sportsman are alot of ATV for there price also.

well the outlander 650 is 8500 msrp. i def will not go anymore than that. But i know i can probably walk in a showroom and get a 09 or 10 model that they haven't sold for a little cheaper with nearly the same options.
but in the end we all would like to get out with the cheapest price and be happy lol

for the money the King Quad 750 has alot of bang for the buck and it has EPS.
A friend of mine just got (haggled a bunch) 2009 Brute Force 750 for 6800.00 plus tax new early this year.
That is a powerful machine. (No EPS on the Brute)
Be willing to drive and check sites like ATVTrader.com.... call the dealers and see who is willing to work with you.
If you could secure a line of credit from the bank and walk in with cash you could command the best price.
or
If you have good credit and a nice down they will work with you.
Remember the sticker is for suckers. shop around and someone will deal.
Just like cars go in and talk then walk.. They will call with a better offer the hardest part of negotiations is not pulling the trigger sometimes.
Good Luck

I believe Trevor said he was looking for an ATV with LESS cc's than his current modded bike that has more oomph. The 750 King, 750 Brute, and 800 Sportsman all have more cc's. The 650 Can Am is about the only bike that fits those requirements.
Now, if he wants to go a little bigger, the 750 King would be a great choice as would the 750 Brute.

There no replacement for displacement, Even the 500 Can AM that has 40hp like a Honda 680 Rincon does not have nearly the same low rpm torque though.
The 500 Can AM may fly by a 680 Rincon down a road but it could not slug through a rough slow trail dragging a heavy load at only 2000rpm like the Rincon could.
The 500 makes 40hp with the rpms built up while the 680 makes 40hp just above idle.
