Default 1998 Foreman TRX 450s - Gets warm loses all power

Just put new battery in, ran this w/e about 1.5 miles into woods, hills and rocks slow speed, got warm and lost all power, like the battery was gettin sucked of all power. Checked all connections let it cool down and was able to ride it back out of woods. (pull start) This has been a great machine, its my plow toy, 2400 miles, bought it new. ??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Fuses were fine, Air fan never kicked on.

Right when you think the fan would kick on, it shuts down and loses everything, odom locked up then disapeared then shut down, no back fires or studders when it was cold or cooled down ran it a mile our of the woods in 2nd gear, lots of rocks so rode slow.

Might of figured out my issue, when I bought the battery I put it on a maintainer not a charger? It was a 2amp maintainer, and probably put a little charge in the batter but enough? Its going to be a week or so before I get back up and recharge it, I'll update once I get it on a charger. thanks Dave
