I recently bought a 96 454 Arctic Cat. One of my complaints and one I have read about concernes the placement of the gas cap. My solution was to buy a snowmobile gas tap which is designed to be mounted on a plastic panel. One 3/8in hole in the side panel just below the tank level, a small length of fuel line and I now have a tap which is easy to reach. I leave the origional tap "on" all the time and use the new one. I am working on a rear break system from a CB 900 Honda to replace the cheap foot break.
