Default 1999 charging issue

Hi everyone long no talk, i could use some help once again, my 1999 sp500 seems to be haveing a charging prob, not sure if its my stator or the battery the battery seems to take a charge off a battery charger, but i get half way through a ride and my electric starter wont work and my winch dose not have any pulling power, and at one point wouldn't even pull its self back in, and the awd had no juice to ingage, any hints or thingings i should check would be a huge help thanks guys. also whats the biggest tire i can run with out rubbing with a 2inch left, thanks again.

use a meter to check and see if you get 14v revved up alittle.if you don't even get 13v,stator,regulator,connection,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,th ese batteries offer little reserve imo.

As stated get a multi meter , touch the ends to the battery posts at idle . read the meter then rev it up, should go up to 14 or more volts, usually the regulator, black box in front of the radiator
