Question Popo 600 reverse bogging down

My '03 600 twin started to act weird a couple of weeks ago. I was trying to pull a small trailer with a boat out of its parking spot and didnt have an problems. The trouble started when I tried to back it back into is parking spot. Its kind of acts like it is not getting any gas. I can rev it up a bit but it loses power under any kind of load. Now, going forward and towing is a breeze, plenty of power. I tried to back it up with no load on it and it acts like its not getting enough air or fuel. I have not been able to figure out where to start troubleshooting. Anybody feel like throwing a few ideas my way? Thanks!

Hit the yellow reverse overide button on the left handlebar with your thumb. Its designed that way so bozo's who cant ride dont get in trouble backing up.

Yes I know how to ride! Yes I hit the yellow reverse button! NO it did not help. I was going through the troubleshooting(in the service manual) this morning and climbed on the bike put her in reverse after hooking up the boat trailer and started to back up.....then it shut off and I cannot get it to fire.

I think he means the the half power and no awd while in reverse safety feature is made for morons. Having to hold down the yellow button to disengage this pointless safety feature does get annoying quick.
