OK, you are 13 and learning on a 350? You can't keep riding it? The Raptor 250 has good handling and great potential. It handles better than the 350, but doesn't quite have the legs, at least stock. The 350s are pretty old school, handling and power isn't horrible but there are better out there. The 450 is to much quad for a 13y/o beginner though. Really the 250 is aimed squarely at your age group, although if you do much more growing height wise it will be a crowded cockpit.

My suggestion is use the 350 as a gauge. If you are able to gain confidence and control over it you may want to stick with something similar or possibly move up to the 400 class machines(Z or EX). Otherwise I would rock a 250, they are a lot of fun.

Remember all the 450s are motocross based motor,so they will need a rebuild much sooner than say a milder. 400EX or 400z.

A 450cc 4 stroke making almost 40hp is under much more stress. Than a 350 raptor making 27. hp .

or even 700 Raptor making 47hp.

ok so the 450 is too much and ill understand that. The 250 and 350 are aimed at my age group.i have heard that thse are entry quads and easy to learn. I would prefer a raptor 350 because i dont do a lot of mx just trails. Does anyone know if yfz 450 shocks can fit in a raptor 350?

id take a 400ex over either anyday you can get them used dirt cheap... but id take the 250 over the 350. from what i hear its got better suspension is almost as fast and handles much better (it weighs atleast 50 lbs less)
