Default Glacier Plow ?

Hi Guy's. Quick question for you.

I have Glacier Plow that I bought new last year. I used maybe 10 times doing just my driveway. Well I have to say the wear bar on these plows are horrible. Must be very soft metal because it wore down to the plow blade already. My driveway is not that big. Any way's instead of just flipping it I want to replace it.

Will any 50" cutting edge fit?

Thanks
Mike

Polaris makes a heavier duty blade or if you have access to some flat stock you can easily make your own using the old one as a template for drilling the holes.

Any good steel shop should be able to set you up with a length of stock which has the wear resistance you're looking for. They can also probably cut it to length so all you need to do is drill the holes.

You might want to experiment with different materials besides steel too. High density polyethylene or similar material is used in situations where you don't want to scratch the pavement.
