I need a new battery for my rancher...

Okay the 2003 Rancher ES has been sitting for a few months. We got snow today so I thought I'd take her out for a spin. I was able to get it started with the rope, but not able to shift gears without the emergency lever. I put the battery on my smart charger on the 1 amp setting but I think it's toast.
My question is, what's the best place to buy a replacement battery? What type /brand lasts the longest?

Believe it or not I have good luck with Wal-marts "Everstart" brand battery in my snowmachine,I will give it a try when my ATV needs one. Just follow "Everstart" set up instructions to the letter.
I just started my sled this winter no problem, and it's the batter's 4th season, never took it out or put it on a charger when stored away and it cost under $40!

+1 on WalMart.
just changed mine so i could get it started easier this winter - old one was a few years and worked fine in summer, but wouldn't allow more than one crank in the cold.
think i paid about $50 for it, just followed the guide onscreen for right model. took only a few minutes to change. also discovered some mice evidence in the battery housing so will try to remedy that now, too.
