Default 98 Grizzly wont start (starter maybe)

My problem is the 98 grizzly wont start. Yesterday the battery was dead and I jumped it using my truck. Not a problem it started using the start button. I went out in the snow play around a little and then it would not start again. This time no clicking or anything. Waited till today to try again and it fired right up no problems. Went in the snow again and happened again I tried to pull start and use the start button and it sounded like it was using the starter but just would not turn over. Any ideas? I don't know where the starter is located to jump it to make sure that is working and I am used to a kick start honda. Any help would be great!

Its not in gear, I tried to jump it, I checked the 2 fuses near the battery and the kill switch was to the run position. When I hit the start button now the oil temp light goes on (like normal when starting) so I know the start switch is fine.

Ok I bought the manual online and found the starter and tried going threw the troubleshooting guide. The starter is fine but the starter relay is bad, I think. I tried to bypass the relay, the starter turns but the engine won't crank over.

I found out the problem late last night. I took all the plastics off and started going threw the ENTIRE electrical system started with the battery and moved up to the start switch. and everything was getting the power the way it should. Started to look at the neutral switch and bam it was in the wiring harness. There were a group of black wires connected into each other that were not getting a good connection. Fixed that and now it is working fine.
