Default scrambler 500 4x4 problems help

Just bought a 2000 scrambler 500 4x4 it has a fmf pipe and was told a clutch kit seems to have some problems any help with ideas what the problems could be 1. it sputters and runs rough in reverse unless I hold the override button 2. while doing some donuts in snow in 2wd it made a loud pop and seemed to engage awd with the switch still on 2wd 3. it seems to run better with the choke on all the time 4. leaks gas out the overflow of the carb only if its not running im new to polaris and have no idea where to start on fixing these problems thanks

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

The reverse and override are the way it works. You can unhook it but I wouldnt until you are you are more comfortable with it.The pop was the 4x4 trying to kick in(it is not a good Idea to be cutting doughnuts)
You need to remove the carb and clean the jets.
