I talked to a performance shop who says they are almost ready on a different carb setup for the Raptor. A single 39mm Mikuni. They are working on the manifolds for it now. They already had a dual setup for the 660 motorcycle but it will not fit on the Raptor. They claim an instant 10hp gain with a carb change over the gain from installing a race cam and piston.

They also said that it was impossible to gain much over 50hp without a carb change because it can't get enough air/fuel to realize the full gain from a race cam and piston. They say another month and it will be out. Wish I had a dollar for each time I've heard that!

The performance shop is called bikeworx. On the prices I gave for the top end cam setup came from them also.

We are heading to Murray for a MX race saturday night, but have a good time. Thats where all my whitened plastic came from by the way.

They are having a harescramble down at Linton this weekend sometime. If your interested let me know and I'll get you the info on it. I'm sure you and Tim would do well there.
