A few Questions about the Lakota
#1
I am considering selling my Recon, and getting a Lakota. But I have a few questions.
1.Would 23x7-10 front & 22x11-10 rear ITP Holeshot XCTs mounted on ITP Polished Beadlock 10x5 rims with a offset of 3LB+2 work on the Lakota if not what wheel/tire set-up do you recommend.
2.Is there a way to move the battery to a safer place.
3.Does anyone make a high Compression Piston & is there a better Cam available
4.Does anybody know if FST or anyone has a Bigbore Kit for the Lakota, if not do you know what kind of work FST could do to my motor to make it better.
5.Also what about a bigger carb like 35 or 36mm
6.Does anyone make a good set of nerf bars for it.
7.Is there a way to lose about 20LBs of that extra weight
THANX

Neither the Mojave or Lakota has changed much since they first came out so it does not matter which year of the bikes you get to try out.It is well known though that the Mojave is the performance champ out of the two and can out accelerate and out run a Lakota.I ride with a guy that has a 95 Lakota and I beat him in a drag race with a passenger on the back, I think it tops out at 50mph but the Mojave will go faster than that and get there alot quicker to.
