Default Fuel shut off valve failure

Any one else have their fuel shut off valve fail? Since we had about 2 feet of snow all winter so I shut the fuel valve off and attempted to drain my float bowl. Well after I drained about a cup out of the bowl that only holds about a table spoon I realized my fuel valve wasn't shutting off. I'm going to install a new one this weekend but I have to say after looking at the replacement part it looks cheaply made.

i haven't had one fail, but every quad i got or ever had or that i've worked on, all look like cheap valves. i am pretty careful with the valves. because for as cheap looking as they are, they want a mint, my firstborn, my legs, and a couple of other items for a new one. go figure????

I got the replacement OEM valve for $17.00 at cheap cycle parts. I highly recommend them. Great prices and usually pretty decent delivery times.

if you use them they will last, I turn mine off whenever atv is gonna sit for more than an hour or two, will also prevent needle and seat in carb from wearing out as quickly,

its always good to move the shut off vlave once in awhile just keep it freed up and doesn't get stuck in one place.
