I have been considering buying a Sidewinder Stainless Steel sprocket and their Duramax long life Krause chain. I have heard these sprocket last forever, but I have no idea. My rear sprocket is missing a tooth, and my chain is worn out.

Instead of buying Polaris stuff, I was just wondering if anyone has used or heard of these products, and if they lasy good. Stainless steel IS a very hard metal and SHOULD last a long time.
thanks.

I have both on my 98 Lonestar Banshee.

I ride and race it hard in sand. For this reason, I put very, very little lubricant on the chain.

Both the Chain and rear Sprocket are anodized blue. After two years, they both look brand new! I love them! Even the anodization still looks great!

I highly recommend them both!

I have had nothing but good luck with thier sprockets . I dont buy the chain from them because the prices are alittle high, but the sprockets are very good.

When i first put my outlaws on my xplorer i would break chains all the time. I then bought a sidewinder oring chain and sprockets and have never had a problem since. I was running a x ring chain on my atc 250r and it broke twice. So i bought a sidewinder chain and sprockets for it. Never had a problem since. I also have sprockets and a sidewinder chain on my mojave and have never had a problem. I think that they have a good product but they are kinda pricey.

I went to the SideWinder web site, what a silly Cluster f@%$!! Anyway, for the money I would be better off buying a OEM sprocket from Rockey Mt. for $18 and a DID Gold X-Ring chain for $50. Worth a try anyway!
