I just purchased a 1984 ATC 70. Want to replace the points & condensor. Problem is there are 3 wires hooked to the condensor. 1 from the points and 1 lead from one of the inside coils and 1 going to the coil mounted on the frame for the spark plug. They are also soldered together to the condensor. ?????? Never seen a setup like this. Normally there is 1 wire from the condensor that connects to the points. There is no place to connect the 2 coil wires. Can someone tell me how to handle this situation?

 

If you got honda parts just re solider wires back on condensor....Thats the way honda does it.
