Default 2011 sportsman 500?

went riding the other day in mud and water a little bit. Now the rear suspension has a really bad squeak coming from both sides. Found 3 grease zerks on both sides and filled them till it came out everywhere. It is better but there is still some coming from somewhere. What does everyone use/or have found to be the points that may have made any noise for them. I am picky but i don't think it should make any noise. My 09 sportsman 400 still makes no noise at all and its been through more. Any help would be great. Also has anyone ever added zerks anywhere else?

Not related at all to your original post, but my friends 2011 Sportsman 500 has front differential problems! This is only after the first ride!

I also have a 2011 500 HO, rode in timber, creeks and on roads. Heard noise from back, sounded like rocks in the brakes. Before I got home both axles went out and the dealer says the rotor and brakes are broke. Fought for 3 weeks to get fixed, axles covered under warranty but not brakes.

These are the upper and lower a arm grease fittings,You don't need to overfill them until grease is dripping every where! All this does is distort the bushings and could allow water in more rapidly. just about 3 pumps every 25-50 hrs is sufficient to keep the rear lubricated. Squeaks can happen in the rear hub bushings(where the drive shaft goes through) that are"factory" lubricated, you can just take the bolts out and wiggle the steel inner bushing out, grease the inside of the plastic bushing and insert the steel bushing back in.Use blue loctite on bolts and tighten!! You can also have mud, trash, etc caught in the back of the hubs with the drive shaft and it can make noise. The MAIN culprit that I've found is dirt, sand, etc in the brake caliper,CAN make a bad squeaking, squealing noise. Just WASH machine thoroughly and you can spray a little WD-40 over the caliper, upper and lower a-arm bushings and also the shock bushings. JUST DON'T drown it in spray and be careful right after as the rear brakes WON'T have full stopping power. Hope this helps on the "squeaks". OPT

Brake pads are considered "normal wear" items and usually not covered. At least you had the drive shafts covered!! They USUALLY don't cover them either, especially BOTH at the same time?? usually torn boots cause the problem unless they can find a defective cv boot. You MUST have been in some muddy area or BAD rocks. Mud can pack around boots and slice em,then if not caught in time the cv or plunging joint will fail from mud and trash and loosing grease!! OPT

As long as they don't find water or mud in the front diff, SHOULD be a warrantied item,IF brand new. OPT

if you ride in alot of water. that can push the grease out of the bushings as well. i used to grease mine alost everytime we went out playing inthe mud/water. always pushed water out when i did it.
