Check your coolant system out. If the motor is overheating it will slightly sieze. I had this happen because of lean jetting, Didnt have a clue that I had leaned out because we were on an unfamiliar trail. Engine just kinda burbled for 2-3 seconds and died like I hit the kill. It wasnt REAL hot but it was warm. Dont know if there is a temp gauge shutoff built in, or if its cause I "sqeaked" the pistons.
Check your jetting, If your running lean it will sqeak the pistons as I mentioned. If you dont feel like pulling the carbs apart, Just duct tape ¼ of your airbox intake off. This will lean the air out a bit. If it stops stalling then it is your jetting.
Another possibility here is the carb float bowls. If they are not set proper it will cause fuel starvation at your top end.
